مرور به موقع و صحیح آموخته‎ها تاثیر بسیار زیادی بر کیفیت یادگیری شما خواهد داشت. همچنین نحوه مرور مطالب ارتباط نزدیکی با یکی از بزرگترین مشکلات فراگیران یعنی مساله فراموش کردن آموخته ها دارد.

در اینجا به چند نکته کاملاً کلیدی و کاربردی در مورد مرور مطالب درسی اشاره می‌شود:

توصیه اول اینکه در برنامه مطالعه هفتگی خود باید در روزهایی که کلاس دارید زمان‌هایی را برای مرور اولیه مطالب تدریس شده جلسات درس همان روز در نظر بگیرید. حتی الامکان اولین مرور را به روز بعد موکول نکنید زیرا براساس نتایج بررسی های علمی، مرور درس روز ظرف چند ساعت بعد از کلاس یا حداکثر تا پایان همان روز تاثیر زیادی در بالا بردن میزان بخاطر سپاری و فراخوانی مطالب در دراز مدت خواهد داشت.

توصیه دوم اینکه در حین مرور یادداشت‌هایتان، سعی کنید باتوجه به اینکه بیش از چند ساعت از کلاس نگذشته و هنوز خیلی نکات مطرح شده در کلاس را فراموش نکرده‌اید، اطلاعات بیشتری را به نوشته‌هایتان اضافه کنید. به عبارت دیگر مرور مطالب کلاس در همان روز باعث غنی تر شدن یادداشت‌ها خواهد شد. بعلاوه در حین این مرور چه بسا به نکاتی بر می‌خورید که قدری مبهم یا سوال برانگیزند و لذا می توانید در اولین فرصت یعنی جلسه بعدی کلاس از استاد سوال کنید.

و بالاخره توصیه سوم اینکه مرور‌های بعدی مطالب باید در فواصل زمانی منظم انجام شود. فواصل زمانی منظم مرور، راندمان ذهنی شما را به میزان قابل توجهی افزایش می‎دهد. می‌توانید روزهای جمعه را کلا بعنوان روز مرور مطالب در نظر بگیرید. هر جمعه زمانی را به مرور مطالب آموخته شده هفته گذشته و زمانی را به مرور سیستماتیک مطالب هفته‌های قبل‌تر از آن اختصاص دهید.
