یکی از مهم ترین کلیدهای موفقیت در رایتینگ آزمون آیلتس آگاهی نسبت به چگونگی نمره دهی و استفاده از این دانش برای بالا بردن نمره است. به این ترتیب میتوان دقیقا بر روی مواردی که ممتحن به دنبال آنهاست تمرکز کرده و نمره ی خود را افزایش دهید.
۴ معیاری که در سیستم نمره دهی مورد توجه قرار می‌گیرند:

Grammatical accuracy

ممتحن به دنبال دیدن توانایی شما برای پاسخ صحیح به سوال است. اما این جمله به چه معنی است؟
اگر به سیستم نمره دهی آیلتس نگاه کنیم متوجه می شویم نوشته های با نمره ی ۶-۷-۸ به تمام بخش های سوال به طور کامل جواب داده اند. به این معنی که اگر به طور کامل به سوال جواب ندهید، نمره ای بالاتر از ۵ دریافت نخواهید کرد.پس شما باید سوال را به دقت بخوانید و مطمئن شوید که تمام بخش های آن را در پاسخ خود پوشش داده اید.
به این مثال دقت کنید:

What are some possible solutions?
در این سوال نیاز داریم تا درباره ی دو مسئله صحبت کنیم: مشکلات و راه حل ها. اگر به این دو بخش به طور کامل پاسخ ندهیم، نمره ی ۵ یا پایین تر در task achievement دریافت خواهیم کرد. همچنین اگر به جای مشکلات درباره ی موضوع صحبت کنیم، نمره ی بالاتر از ۵ دریافت نخواهیم کرد.، زیرا این مسئله ای نیست که در سوال از ما پرسیده شده است.به مثال دیگری دقت کنید:

در این سوال باید ۳ مسئله را پوشش دهیم:
- بحث راجع به افزایش تعداد تسهیلات ورزشی برای گسترش سلامت مردم
- بحث راجع به این دیدگاه که تسهیلات ورزشی تاثیر کمی بر روی سلامت مردم دارد.
- بیان نظر خود.
اگر این ۳ بخش را در پاسخ خود نداشته باشید، نمره ی ۵ یا پایین تر خواهید گرفت. حالا که میدانیم برای نمره ی بالای ۵ در task achievement چطور باید بنویسیم، به تفاوت های نمره های ۶-۷-۸ در این معیار نگاهی می اندازیم.تفاوت بین این نمره ها مربوط به چگونگی ساپورت کردن ایده ها با توضیحات و مثال هاست.
نمره ی ۶: ایده های مرتبط داده شده اما به طور کامل با توضیحات و مثال ها ساپورت نشده یا مثال ها و توضیحات نامرتبط هستند.

This student has presented a clear position, but they have given a very general explanation and their example lacks focus and is not specifically linked to the main point.
.نمره ی ۸: ایده های مرتبط داده شده که با مثال ها و توضیحات مرتبط و خاص ساپورت شده اند.
The main problem causing traffic jams is too many cars. When we have more vehicles than a city’s infrastructure was designed for it leads to congestion. For example, Ho Chi Minh City was designed to cope with around 500,000 cars and the city now has over 2 million cars, resulting in chronic traffic problems.
This student has explained their point very well, explaining exactly why they think too many cars are the problem and given a very specific and relevant example to prove their point. If you can’t think of a specific example, make one up. The examiners are not interested in how factual your examples are, just your ability to make one.
